I think my pc has a virus, it got through avast

Hi.
My pc wont do anything now, not even connect to the net.
It keeps saying XP Anti-virus 2001>current pc state>infected. I don’t have xp anti virus, so I know it is a bug, any ideas ?
Avast or anything else will not run, tried safe mode and rooled it back a few months?

I would suggest following the instructions, and if that doesn’t work it may be necessary to get essexboy to help out…

2001? I missed that…I was going by the xp-antivirus…(guess it was 2011)

It might be working, the malwarebytes is checking now, it would not even do that before ! Thanks.
