I think the Zeus virus has disabled my Avast premier, can't run boot scans...

disabled browser protection . malwarebytes shields are disabled and I am unable to complete a boot scan or a full scan. I ran some tools from bleeping computer but still the problem remains.

There are several problems with Malwarebytes realtime protection in latest version, see posts in malwarebytes forum

but the fake alert popped up on Comcast’s web mail and again on this forum and locked the browser

Yes, their locking it because the malicious vendor really wants you to call them so they can make money off you.

Do as Pondus suggests, help here is free and go to virus & worms to get that help.

here is a little more info before I go, the last time I was able to complete a scan was on 4-11, every scan since then has been stopped. including boot time scans from 4-22,4-22 and 4-23 karpseky and bit defender are unable to run online scans
