I think this might be a false postive (preload.exe)

So I ran Avast on my system and had it flag up three files

And I have a feeling that they may actually be false positives, as my machine has been behaving normally and as far as I know I haven’t done anything to potentially compromise my machine, that and a while ago I had Avast flag the installer file I had kicking around for World of Warcraft as a virus. The only major change I’ve done recently were some windows system updates.

I’ve googled but haven’t had much luck to find out just what these files are and if they are a virus beyond those scare sites that seem to flag just about process under the sun as a virus.

I’m assuming you have an ASUS System? If so, safe to say those are a FP, and can be safely restored from the chest.
