i was tryn to dounlod a file from lime wire the advast informd me of a virus an it recomended that i move it to the chest i went to move it to the chest an then the avast told me that ther isnt enough space on my disc. what disc are they talking about???
This is misleading as it isn’t a lack of space in the chest, but the file you want to move to the chest exceeds the Maximum file size to send. You can adjust this setting, Program Settings, Chest, and increase this value to cater for the file you want to move there.
What is the infected file name, where was it found e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?
Check the avast! Log Viewer (right click the avast ‘a’ icon), Warning section, this contains information on all avast detections. C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashLogV.exe
Hi hotbishop,
We ask about the size and location of the file, because if it is a temporary file it could be deleted if not essential. Using temp file cleaners will also enhance general security,
