I personally find Software Updater to be pretty worthless because I don’t want to be notified every hour that I have outdated software. I disabled it which worked fine but when I reboot my computer it’s enabled again. What gives? How can I make it shut down forever?
You can remove it via the uninstall process, click to uninstall avast and when you receive the popup screen choose change where you’ll be given the option the untick the features you don’t want.
