I want to set a password....

When I installed Avast, I didn’t set a password to lock access to changing the settings. Now I want to set a password. Is there a way to do this? I can’t find it in Help, and haven’t seen a post about it here, other than one that said I had to uninstall and reinstall (and save some .ini file beforehand).

Help please! ???

Please download the full installer of the Professional or Home version and run it. It will offer you an update to build 942 where this problem should be corrected.

Right click the ‘a’ blue icon and you should see it…
