Skins were a popular thing with 4.8. Probably because many people didn’t like the DvD player like GUI (I know I didn’t, to an extent it kept me from taking the program seriously). The new GUI is so professionally done, I really don’t see the need for skins unless you just would prefer different colors like you can have in Norton.
