Some of us prefer it over shouting and letter writing.

If you are referring to Apple’s products such as iPod, iPhone, iMac, iPhoto, etc. Than I can answer that. back in 1997-98 when the iMac was first introduced it stood for internet as in internetMac. Apple’s whole marketing scheme for the first iMac was how easy it was to setup and get connected to the internet compared to windows machines. The iMac became so popular that it saved Apple from bankruptcy and the name kind of stuck and Apple began using the “i” naming scheme for most of their consumer products.

and it gets extremely annoying, sorry had to put my 2 cents in there
Just every consumer device I see anymore or atleast of lot of things begine with
“i” and it just gets really annoying

Well its only supposed to be Apple Products but like always everyone copies Apple :stuck_out_tongue:

A little conspiracy theory, don’t you think?
Or just ad

Thanks to all, and I really didn’t know what it stood fore. I my self am a little upset with all the silly names given things today. I would rather be a LEADER than a FOLLOWER. thanks again. ;D
