Iambigbrother problems

I am using avast 4.7 home and it keeps recognizing the iambigbrother file C:\WINDOWS\cp.exe as a virus and won’t let it run. I added that file along with all the iambigbrother files in the exclusion section of avast, but it still keeps happening. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem? There are places to exclude files. On access and on demand.

For on access
Left click the “a” icon, click on the standard shield provider, advanced tab

For on demand
right click the “a” icon, click program setting, exclutions

%windir%\cp.exe
cp.exe is a Spyware.IamBigBrother.
cp.exe monitors user Internet activity and private information.
It sends stolen data to a hacker site.

Interesting question bob3160, but no answer :-\ from stagefryte23.

iambigbrother seems to be a net monitor. Good or bad??,don’t know. stagefryte23 seemed to feel comfortable with it and in all likelyhood installed it

Unfortunately the ability to bypass a program can leave your system
wide open if that permission or exclusion is given to the wrong program.

It’s an option that’s great when there is a true False Positive but, it can very easily be used to
bypass the whole reason for having a security program in the first place.
