Icon notification banner (system tray)

When I hover the mouse pointer over the Avast system tray icon, the green banner pop-up and than (with a bit of delay), over it, a small white square window appears (not always, but often).

Is there anyone who has the same problem and maybe a way to eliminate the white window small white window over the banner?

Windows 11 + Avast Free v26.3

Sorry, I haven’t seen it myself (my details under my post).
Yours is the first one I have seen recently in the community forum.

Even if I’m the only one experiencing this issue, some more information about it.

By disabling and, immediately after, re-enabling the icon (Settings>Notifications), the white window disappears… only to reappear again after a few hours!

The white square could be where the name of the program would appear, or the file location. It is non-existent because Avast has the custom green label. Somehow you still get a normal label on top of it, but empty. At least that’s my guess.

Have you tried updating your graphics driver?

I updated the graphics drivers two days ago.

I enabled “System tray icon animation” (Settings>Notifications) and the white window has disappeared.
