I'd like to see an old pop-up...

Hello,
Avast, ever on the job, popped up to tell me it stopped/encountered/something on a website I visited yesterday. I pulled the pop-up back up at that time by right-clicking on the tray icon, looked into it, determined no harm done, and went about my business. But now today, I’d like to retrieve that information again. Any way I can get back the info that that pop-up told me? Mostly want to know the site it was on and what it blocked.

TODAY…my Gmail spam folder is receiving about one email every 3 minutes. The kind I can’t imagine anyone opening (but somebody must or they wouldn’t keep sending them out, right?? :o). They all have attachments, they have different subjects, different senders. They aren’t hurting anything, I’m not opening them, I empty my spam folder using Gmail’s delete spam link.

Very curious about what I’ve stepped into. :frowning:

You can only get the popup to display if:

  1. you haven’t had another popup since.
  2. you haven’t rebooted since the popup.

You should be able to get some text information in this log file - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt (XP) or C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt (Vista and later).

Perfect!!

It was in the WebShield.txt log

Thanks for your help ;D

You’re welcome.
