IE 7 - Optimal Security Settings

Dear Avast Gurus,

Can anybody advise the optimal security settings for IE7?

I ONLY use IE 7 to update Window$. However I would like to ensure it is configured to be as (in!!)secure as possible.

IE is a rubbish browser however I can’t manually update Window$ with Firefox. Hopefully some bright lad will build an add-on to circumvent this.

This is your opinion I assume ??? I have no problems updating windows using IE Tab add on in Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

It’s set for auto. updates in XP, Vista and, Win7. :slight_smile:

They do not use IE to update, but a build in update within Windows Explorer.
