ie 7

in ie 7 is it possible to not show the search box(windows live, google, etc)?thanks bri

Yes, get IE7Pro

thanks bob ill try it out

I’ve used it for quite some time already.
Just seems to keep getting better with each update.
Wish it could kill the one in FireFox…

the search bar in ff can be removed(if this is what u ment)right click on ff toolbar, customize and drag the search bar down into that box.

Thanks bri,
That was easy.

Thanks, Bob … for the IE7pro link. Though Opera9 is my main browser, I have to use IE for my web email because some features do not work in Opera. I’ve downloaded and installed IE7pro without a problem.

Thanks also, Bri … your question was the reason I now have IE7pro.

Anyone else having problems using IE7Pro with CCleaner? it seems that IE7Pro stores it’s settings in the temporary internet folder and when I run CCleaner it wipes out my custom settings.

Hi marc57,

If you run Vista your browser files are stored somewhere else. It is also new for forensics, maybe for CCleaner this is your problem. New storage is e.g. in users files. Read this: http://www.securityfocus.com/infocus/1889 & 1890
