IE stopped working with Avast Internet Security

Hi,

I recently installed Avast Internet Security and since then, my IE has frequently been crashing with the following details:

Although it doesn’t specifically state its Avast related, I can’t help but think its more than a coincidence.

  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Hi,

IS version 2015.10.0.2208
Windows 7 64 bit SP1
No other security software other than standard Windows stuff.
Had Norton for a while but uninstalled that before using Avast.

Disable/Uninstall AOS. Better now…?

Also make sure Norton is completely removed:
