When I run IE8 virtualised I invariably get a warning about java\jre6\bin\ssvagent.exe and “the extended attributes are inconsistent.” When I click OK on the warning, IE8 and my home page load up but without the red border. I don’t get any such warning when running IE8 in the normal environment, i.e. without the sandbox.
I’m using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Any suggestions to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
I would try deleting java and run ccleaner then reinstall java before anything else, if that dont work try and see if sandbox work’s with firefox, you could also try upgrading to ie9
Took your advice, craigb, and uninstalled Java (both 32- and 64-bit versions). Reinstalled 32-bit only as I don’t use IE8 64-bit. So far no Java warnings! Thanks.
