You could also check the offending/suspect file at: VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner and report the findings here. You can’t do this with the file securely in the chest, you need to extract it to a temporary (not original) location first, see below.
Create a folder called Suspect in the C:\ drive, e.g. C:\Suspect. Now exclude that folder in the Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced, Add, type (or copy and paste) C:\Suspect* That will stop the standard shield scanning any file you put in that folder. You should now be able to export any file in the chest to this folder and upload it to VirusTotal without avast alerting.
If it is indeed a false positive, see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=34950.msg293451#msg293451, how to report it to avast! and what to do to exclude them until the problem is corrected.
Your English is very good.
thanks for your help.
i uptade avast at this time and now no alerte on igfxtray. problem is solved.
edit : how can i close this topic ?
No problem, glad I could help.
Only the moderators can close a topic, but it will naturally effectively be closed if no one contributes further to it, so nothing else needs to be done.
You could put [Solved] in the Title of this topic, click Modify in your first post and add that to the end of the Title, like in my post.
Welcome to the forums.
I have your same file igfxtray.exe and checked on virustotal, it’s not a virus.
antonpaco, like steph has posted, probably (most probably), it was a false positive.
I have the same problem. Thanks
Send us (virus@avast.com) the file to analyze, please.

The problem is fixed with latest definitions. I think it is false positive. In previous day avast detects ‘igfxtray.exe’ as a win32:Malware-gen I backup this file with move to chest function on boot time scan. But now with latest definitions I rescan this file from move to chest and avst shows no virus found. So, I restored the file and my PC is ok.
Thanks to all avast support team for quick support.
Hi Bishnusakha,
So this was a false positive, and that is good to know.
Whenever you have configurated your intel graphical chipset and do not plan to make further changes to it, you could decide to remove igfxtray.exe at start-up.
It is part of the intel configuration tools, but can sometimes weigh heavy on system resources. In that case you could easily choose to end this process,

Dear polonus,
You are right. Many softwares slow down the system and uses huge resources. I have remove some unwanted process from system startup i.e. ‘AdobeARM.exe’(Adobe Reader),‘GoogleUpdate.exe’(Google Chrome),‘NeroCheck.exe’(Nero7),‘jusched.exe’(Java Update Schedule) etc.
Thank You.
