Ignore exclusions when using ashCmd.exe command-line scanner utility

Hello, good day to you.

I want ashCmd.exe to ignore the list of excluded files/folders specified via Avast One UI upon manual scan. I failed to find a command/switch which gives me this ability in ashCmd.exe.
I own a premium version of Avast.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Marco.

Well, I managed to fix it myself.

For anyone interested, all you have to do is to expand Advanced Options for that exclusion entry, then disable ā€˜All scans’ option, and leave others intact.

This variety of options didn’t exist in previous versions of Avast (not sure about the specific number though).

Unchecking the ā€œAll scansā€ option means that the exclusion won’t apply to any on-demand scan, be it started from the UI, from the context menu, via ashCmd.exe or boot-time scan (i.e. it will apply just for File Shield / Behavior Shield and related). There’s no specific command-line argument that would make ashCmd.exe ignore global exclusions (but keep it active e.g. for the Full System Scan started from the UI).

That’s the exact behavior I expected.

Thanks for the confirmation.
