I want ashCmd.exe to ignore the list of excluded files/folders specified via Avast One UI upon manual scan. I failed to find a command/switch which gives me this ability in ashCmd.exe.
I own a premium version of Avast.
For anyone interested, all you have to do is to expand Advanced Options for that exclusion entry, then disable āAll scansā option, and leave others intact.
This variety of options didnāt exist in previous versions of Avast (not sure about the specific number though).
Unchecking the āAll scansā option means that the exclusion wonāt apply to any on-demand scan, be it started from the UI, from the context menu, via ashCmd.exe or boot-time scan (i.e. it will apply just for File Shield / Behavior Shield and related). Thereās no specific command-line argument that would make ashCmd.exe ignore global exclusions (but keep it active e.g. for the Full System Scan started from the UI).
