I expected to find a direct contact with the support of Avast, but my problem seems not to fit any topic suggested…
I wanted to try the efficiency of Avast Anti-theft, and I was disappointed: although either wifi or data traffic is on, the “control panel” on the Avast website notifies that it isn’t able to make connection with my device.
Could anyone explain why and help me to make the anti-theft work?
Either English/French/Spanish answers are OK.
- Remove the device from your account.
- Wait 1 hour.
- Attach the device again to your account.
- Try things again.

I have the same problem! I know definetely, the phone is online , because it is directly beside me, but the same message appears!
