Is avast pro compatible with Outlook Express using an IMAP server? Are there any special settings in Avast required so that it scans the emails properly?

(I normally use POP3, so I’m not familiar with IMAP)
There should be no problem, just ensure that IMAP scanning is enabled in the Internet Mail provider. However on Win95/98/ME you need to use the Mail Protection Wizard.
