My friend brought over his Dell PC and said he had a virus and contacted microsoft for help in fixing it. He said they told him it was a Zeus trojan virus. It sounds suspicious as MS usually don’t help you get rid of a virus.
Anyway, I run nortons 360, mbam, and adwcleaner without success. So I followed the FAQ and will post the logs in hopes of a cure.
No sign of malware there, it may just need a bit of TLC
Could you let me know what problems you are experiencing after this

Same issues still. Just very laggy all around. Still takes several seconds for firefox to show up, but each webpage seems much faster. In fact the whole things seems a bit faster after the fix.
I just opened Internet Explorer and it took about 20seconds to show up. before it was around a full minute or more.
Here’s the fixlog.txt file you requested after I ran the fixlist.txt
Thank you for your prompt reply and assistance.

The RAM seems sufficient at 2GB and the hard drive has plenty of space.
