The sign may frighten the lessor experienced user (thinking avast forum is spying on them) who comes to these forums for help.
The last thing we want is to possibly have people who come for help thinking we are spying on them and they leave.

Please, can you explain me better? Thank you. 
Your sign displays information about their IP address, OS and their browser, in doing so may make them feel vulnerable. Not a very good confidence builder on a forum they may have come to because their system was vulnerable.
Most people don’t realise that this information is readily available when you browse, so they may thing that you/avast has hacked their system and is spying on them. Since this is the official avast forums they may believe that it is avast responsible for this display.
I have seen it many times on other forums/bulletin boards where people ask why they are being spied on.
Ok, now I understand very well.
I ensure ALL the new Forum users about the honesty of my post.
