That’s going to be a problem. I know I am need of more RAM, it’s something I’ve been meaning to do for years but I’d have to pay someone to do it for me as well as the part, since I am not all that savvy with the inner workings of the machine and we can’t really afford that, especially right now. (Money’s always tight this time of year…)

As for those programs, no need to worry about those. I may not know how to put computers together or add parts but I know very well what programs to avoid. I never liked add ons on my browser anyway. Take up too much space.
BTW, would this trick work with my PC and would it be safe to use full time?

I’ll run CCleaner but that never helps much. Avast is also the only program that runs with start up. Besides, wouldn’t changing that setting mean I’d have to manually click on the avast icon to get it running? That’s what the setting menus implied.

And for the moment, I’m in dire need of some alternatives because I’ve gone without protection for five days and only two remain for the deal but as mchain said, this may not be an option if I can’t up my ram.
