Why, what errors are you getting ?

avast doesn’t block (it isn’t a firewall), but scans content and alerts to infection.

Can you browse normally and download from other sites ?
If so I can’t see why there would be a difference as the web shield should be consistent.

What is your firewall ?

I can reach it just by tagging http:// in front of it ‘in.solit.us’ and the initial page shows clean.

Though I haven’t tried any downloads.

Update, I tried a small download (dial-up user) from the new public files on the default page using firefox and it completed with no problems.
