Inbound Mail Viruses: Discard it Unconditionally

Within the Outlook / Exchange settings on the Client, I would prefer to see any Email Viruses Discarded.

However, the default setting within each Avast Client is “Let it be delivered to your inbox”. Does anyone know what that particular option does? It sounds like it is not going to remove the infected message.

I can’t find a setting within ADNM (nor can I see it within Avast.ini on the client) that will enable me to change this globally.

Can anyone help me with this?

I would like to avoid manually changing this setting for each user, but “Let it be delivered to your inbox” does not fill me with much confidence.

Not sure why I struggled with this, but the global settings are here: ADNM => Tasks => Client Side Tasks => On-Access Scanning Tasks => Default Resident Task => Properties => Outlook / Exchange.

I have checked:
[1] Inbound Mail => If Avast Finds an Infected Inbound Message “Discard it Unconditionally”
[2] Advanced => “Silent Mode”

What about “move in virus chest” and when failed “delete…”
