Sorry missed that most of the questions relating to this are asking for them to be put back ;D
It was an error of memory (which was corrected in the instructions) to say it was in avast5.ini, it used to be until the separate ini file was created for the Mail Shield settings.
In most cases 0 (zero) = off and 1 = on
Personally the InsertNoteInfectedMsgIn option is of even less value than the others, avast would alert if the inbound email is infected and would modify the email subject. That is why I only Highlighted the two clean note ones in my image, but showed the parameters for all as it is your choice what to do.
