Inbound Outlook email from one source missing attachments and imbedded pics

With MS Outlook 2003 and Vista Home Premium, one source of inbound email never comes through with attachments or imbedded pics intact. I must scroll down 40 lines of info before I can read the body of the email. It’s as if I am reading the ‘properties’ of each email. If I uncheck ‘scan inbound mail’ for (POP protocol), all is fine. This one source uses Mozilla and Netscape for sending me email. All other various sources/emails work fine with protection working/checked. If I could selectively choose whom to scan, then I would turn off for this one source. Do I have something set up wrong?

This is not an available option of Internet Mail provider or Outlook plugin.
If you use just MS Outlook, an interaction of Internet Mail provider could be doing that… which it shouldn’t, but, maybe you can disable the Internet Mail provider.
I’m not sure it will help, but you maybe you can add the following line to the [MailScanner] section of \data\avast4.ini:
Log=20
Then generate some traffic, simulate the problem (i.e. force the avast mail scanner to time out by sending an email with attachment) and then post here the contents of the file \data\log\aswMaiSv.log

This is happening to me on only some emails as well. Emails come through as shown in the sample below; stripped of any attachments or graphics. Since it has been an issue for at least a year, I am hoping that there is a resolution…??? TIA for any assistance.
