Inbox messages

Hello All!

I am new to using Avast, as I am at a new company and pretty unfamiliar with the ins and outs of the software.

We have it set up to send an email to my inbox whenever our mail server hit a message that is infected or could be infected. Lately, after I get the first email (which will show the original sender and recipient)I continue to receive over 100 additional messages. These additional messages are all identical, saying that the message is “Untestable Mail.” The details it shows about the message are that it is the email being sent from our service account (which sends me all of the Avast emails) to my inbox!

It seems that it is sending me the first email as usual (“email A”), and then seeing “email A” as being untestable mail, and sending another message ("email B). From here, it sees each new message as untestable, and sends me the maximum number of notifications.

I have started a full scan of our main server to see if Avast finds anything, but in the mean time I figured I could check here to see if anyone had any ideas as to what could be causing this.

Thank you for any support!
