Incessant reports of Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] rootkit found

Hi

In the last 2, 3 days, Avast has been reporting finding the above rootkit, (please
see screenshot => http://bit.ly/1xgMKJJ ) in connection with some jswpsapi.exe ( <==what is this???) & recommending immediate deletion & a subsequent boot time scan.

Because I have a lot of data, the boot time scan takes hours. After that, the alert keeps coming, in spite of this. This is the third day & quite irritating.

I looked online for help to show how to get rid of this & some tutorial recommended using Norton Power Eraser. Of what it found, which are programs I thought were harmless, I all the same took the advice & deleted them, but this did not mention this rootkit.

Malwarebytes free version did NOT find anything.

I am right now scanning with Sophos Virus removal tool, which will however take hours to finish.

In the meantime, the >>Avast rootkit found<< alert is back as I write this!!!

What is the point of a multiple-hour boot-time scan to delete the root kit if after booting, the same alert will reappear with exactly the same report & recommendation?

Before this began, I had done more or less to just check the health of my pc, an online scan with the Bitdefender Quickscan It found no threat.
I then used an Avast boot time scan, which recommended removing some files.

After that, I though all was OK, then shortly after, which may be a coincidence - that is when this root kit business started, unless some files it deleted are connected to this alert.

How do I get rid of the vermin? I have desisted from disabling the pop-up, because I guess it is really finding something, which was not there 4 days ago & which it is failing to delete or is the thing being re-created?

I will very much appreciate some help.

Regards
