Hello!
My problem is that incoming emails are no longer scanned by avast! after changing from normal pop-Connections to SSL-pop-connections. That means after I´ve changed the port to my email-accounts from 110 to 995, incoming emails are no longer scanned.
Outgoing email-check still works (and if I want, I get a message attached that outgoing emails are scanned and virus-free), but I don´t get messages of incoming emails scanned…although Internet Email/POP/… - “Check incoming emails” AND - “Write message in clean emails” boxes are checked…
I don´t understand ist. It worked for some weeks without problems, but since a change to SSL (and a try to go back to normal pop-connections), it doesn´t work anymore.
Anyone with ideas? I´d be very thankful!
(maybe some translations from the german version are not exactly correct - I hope you´ll understand!)

Setup the mail as if Avast isn’t there and see if the problem is solved.
If not use the search option on this board. I’m not sure but I believe there is another thread that explains on how to setup the mail with Spamiihilator.

That´s what I did (I didn´t change anything except the SSL-change)!
I´ll search the forum for Spamihilator-threads. Thanks a lot for the quick help!

Quick help?
It took me almost 20 minutes to reply. Trust me, that is slow on this board.

OH!
Did you edit post number 2? Avast! does not support SSL. Okay…then I´ll go back to normal mode.
20 minutes is quick for any board…if it´s slow here, congratulations…thanks again!
