After installing Avast, when I clicked on the SuRun tray icon, I got an error “Desktop creation failed” and SuRun’s window did not appear. This happened even if I disabled all of Avast’s scanner modules. I also got the same error if I tried to start Avast with right-click “Start as Administrator”. I guess I would have got it whatever program I tried to start this way, as Avast appears to prevent SuRun’s Authorisation windows opening as well.
I also got repeated BSOD “IRP_Stack” after installing Avast. After uninstalling it, SuRun is working properly again and no more BSOD.
