What version of sandboxie are you using ?

The reason I ask, is someone reported (in the avast forums) no conflict with sandboxie 4.0.

I don’t visit the sandboxie site, as I said there is meant to be a corresponding topic in these forums.

Try a search for “sandboxie 4.0” on the forum search function, I have put quotes around string and would also try it that way otherwise toy may get lots of hits related with each, but not specifically both together.

That’s OK, thank you for helping me. Where should I appeal to the Avast team so that they’d read my plea and try to fix the problem?

It is hard to say, where to post it, if this bug is still present in the avast 2014 beta 1, ideally in the beta sub forum in a topic of its own.

Presumably it is still present in the avast 8.0.1496 beta r3, so that fact could be mentioned as the avast 2014 version is still some way off. Hopefully the current version of avast 8.0.1489 would be updated sooner than that, mind you it seems that this beta is more geared up to windows 8.1 compatibility along with a couple of other things.

I can attest to that as I went to Sandboxie forums and posted similar issue over there.

Here’s what was suggested: Update to a later version. Now running version 4.05.04, but as it is not final OEM, not updated sig to reflect that. Issue I had was resolved running the newer version.

Does anyone know if this is fixed/changed in Avast 2014 maybe? Thank you!
