Infected by 26 malware items in a strange place (OTL).

have you run OTL before?

seems detection are in OTL quarantine folder…this should be gone when OTL program is removed

I should delete OTL? I thought I didn’t have to and left it on in case there was a problem in the future.

OTL does not have a update function, and is not a program for daily/normal use
you download latest new version when you need it…and you need a removal expert to instruct you how to run it

click clean up button and program and quarantine folder should be gone

Ok, will do, just attaching the QTL file that I just compiled, but going by what you say I can just get rid of OTL.

OTL quarantine folder will have the bad guys in it, so likely detection is, as you say, only in the OTL folder. I take it you recently had some malware removal work done?

essexboy will get back to you asap in any case. Base on what he sees, you will get a definitive answer.

Hi you say you have removed OTL but the quarantine folder is still present ?

[]Download OTC to your desktop and run it
[]Click Yes to beginning the Cleanup process and remove these components, including this application.
[*]You will be asked to reboot the machine to finish the Cleanup process. Choose Yes.
