There is already a topic made for posting undetected samples here
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=64122.0
remeber just posting the VirusTotal scan does not help avast, you also have to send the sample to avast lab
Do you have that link to send the sample? Id be happy to send.
several ways to do it
from website http://www.avast.com/en-eu/contact-form.php?loadStyles
from chest
Moving files to the Virus Chest
http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=501#idt_03
Submitting files from the Virus Chest to avast! Virus Lab
http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=501#idt_07
and mail
send the sample in a password protected zip.file to virus @ avast.com
zip password: infected
Mail subject: undetected sample
it is recomended to use a zip program that also encrypt the content to avoid blocking by mail scanners. Gmail will block if it can see that the zip file containe .exe file
7zip or winRAR will do it
I’ll use the http form. Thanks.
Avast! now detects it…
Good. Thanks to the virus analysts.
