Found hat infection in virus chest of avast today. Can someone help me ensure that it’s cleaned up? I’m not having issues with the system right now, but I don’t want to either.

With that in the chest it cannot harm your computer any longer and you should be good to go. Start with updating your Adobe software: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows

Thanks I’ll do that. I was surprised to see that it was attached to a Google Chrome file. I thought Chrome was one of the better browsers.
