Infection: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] When updating Cygwin (gtk3-demo-application.exe)

When downloading Cygwin updates for “libgtk3_0-3.6.4-1” (tried from various Cygwin mirrors,
i.e. http://cygwin.cybermirror.org/release/GNOME/gtk3/libgtk3_0/libgtk3_0-3.6.4-1.tar.bz2 ) I get the following Avast (Avast AV Prog ver: 8.0.1483, Defs ver: 130426.0) popup:

Object: gtk3-demo-application.exe
Infection: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]

This does not occur on a Norton AV protected system.
If I download from “Norton AV” System and copy file to “Avast AV” system and run a file scan (Avast AV Prog ver: 8.0.1483, Defs ver: 130426.0) it passes as a clean file.

I strongly believe this to be a false positive.
