I am running windows vista home premium sp1
Avast home 4.8
when i right click and scan a file it just freezes at “initializing engine, please wait…”
I read the other posts about how restarting your computer fixes it. And for that works.
However, It reoccurs occasionally. As in 3 times a week. It has really started to annoy me so I am posting here.

That’s one of the issues the pre-release build, available here, should hopefully fix.
There seems to be some issue with MS Outlook 2007 with this build… so if you are using it, I’d suggest to wait a bit more, if not, you are safe to update.
