You are correct. We are working on adding more options that can be controlled through the portal., As well other features/options. But at this time there are defaults set on the backend and every time the client communicates it will reset to the defaults.

Yes I have this issue. Using Avast for Business. If I turn off the option Insert note into clean message (outgoing), the software turns this back on again.
UPDATED— I’ve just found out that this option HAS to be set in the web console at https://business.avast.com/#network/policies
