Inspect opportunity for Avast SafeZone Browser

Hi there Avast!

I am a Web Developer/Designer and the only thing that’s keeping me from changing to Avast SafeZone Browser is just the developer tools. I would be happy just with the inspect element and standard tools like from Google Chrome.

Hi,
you have to add “/with-feature:dev-tools” to SafeZone Browser shortcut.

So target of your shorcut will be like this: “C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\SZBrowser\launcher.exe” /with-feature:dev-tools

Hi I have tried the above but it will not let me change the file path for the launcher exe file. It says i need avast administrator permission

Why do you want to change the path ?
There is no need for.

because you cant inspect the code need to get the developer tool to open in it

And what has that got to do with changing the path ?

  1. Duplicate SafeZone browser shortcut on your desktop
  2. Change commandline of the duplicated shortcut to contain above mentioned parameter.

Everytime you need dev tools, just use the second icon.

I recommend to use browser without dev-tools for normal browsing when you do not need them…
