Instability of the automatic blocking of the monitoring tools

Hello,

I defined by default, icon in the top right, (in global settings), the automatic blocking of the monitoring tools:

  • Social networks
  • Advertising tracking
  • Hearing Measures
  • Other

This blocking works, but I am regularly obliged to “reactivate” this service, because it deactivates itself when I leave my browser (FF) and that I return to it :frowning:

Does anyone know a trick for this service to be continuously activated ?

Thanks in advance,
Marty

There are multiple problems reported for the latest FF version and not just related to avast.
It would not surprise me if FF is the culprit.

Hello Eddy,

Thank you for your quick reply.

You’re probably right, and I’ll wait for the next FF update.
I noticed that this browser is also very slow at the moment.

Thanks again
Marty

You need to enable global blocking twice and then it’ll remember. Btw, if you’re using some sort of cookie blocking, that could be the reason, because afaik, browser extension stores certain settings in a cookie… At least it used to in the past…

Hello RejZor,

Sure enough, I think cookies are responsible, because I delete them with the browsing history between each assignment.
What is bizarre is that I did not have this problem before…
