I am very confused with this.
Seems windows 8 brings its own antivirus and malware installed and I think it will conflit with avast . What will be the best solution to use only avast ? Unistall Windows defender on control panel if possible ? Seems Defender can be only disabled . If so, will it be sufficient to run avast without problems ? If possible clarify me with the best solution for this. Tks in advance.
Once you install avast windows defender/MSE on windows 8 should automatically disable itself, you can guarantee that with going into services and set defender to disabled.
Im not sure if defender on win8 can be uninstalled, i dont think so as it’s now an included part of windows as was defender in win7.
