Install Avast for Business remotely with EMCO Remote Installer!

Hi bro,

I was guided that I can use Avast for Business for free in my workplace (from Avast Free Section). I’m intending deploy Avast in mass by using a tool called EMCO Remote Installer. But I don’t know the parameter to make the silent installation. Example: When I install Winrar,I add “/s” to install it silently.

I don’t think there is a silent install option currently for the free product. You might want to contact Avast support for official word. However I think I read somewhere in the forum that a push install is coming in a future release.

While I have not used the EMCO Remote installer, I have managed to push the install with PDQ deploy. I selected the option to customize the installer before download, there are options there for offline and silent installation. I have pushed the silent installer and have had no issues. this was on the free business product.

there is an options when downloading the installer to get the deployable (silent) Installer. This you would give to your deployment program. See screen grab
