In AMS Maintenance tool → SQL Server Instance Setting - Test Connection is ok.

but Create database I have the error

Database creation failed with 0x0000A410 error…
Going To create database of avast! on MS SQL server “XXX”, using user “sa” …
Cannot execute command for 0x00000065 resource, error 0x80040E14…
Cannot create database , error 0x0000A410…

I install setup_adnm from original cd program (from avast) update March 2006

I test on msde (from avast setup) & test on sql2005 on server I have the same error code.

I can not find DbCreated=0 in ini file

First Install I have not database in my server

Did you look to the right avast4.ini? It is

C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Management Tools\Data\Avast4.ini,

and NOT

C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Avast4\Data\Avast4.ini.

So you’re saying there’s neither “DbCreated=0” nor “DbCreated=1” in the file?
(It should be one of the last lines of the file).

I am found avast.ini in “C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Management Tools\DATA”

I click Check DB

AMS database in not compatible! (0x0000A410)

I click Delete DB…

Database connot be deleted because it does not exist.

I click Create DB…

I not found avast database in my sqlserver when I query database by enterprise manager (SQL) I can connect to database in my server by enterprise manager by user : sa & password : xxxxx but I can not create database by AMS Maintenance tool I have error

Vlk, what about this problem? I’ve installed ADNM and get this problems too.
I’ve tried all found in topics, but haven’t any good…
