I am looking for help getting avast to work on my computer. Can someone guide me through what I need to do. I see a lot of talk about the issue, but don’t have a lot of IT experience. The error message is, “Blocked by group policy. Contact system administrator”. I never set up a ‘group’, but found where my wife’s computer was hosting a group that I was a member of.

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
