Installed Pro Antivirus and computer slowed way down.

Just installed Pro a week or so ago and now my computer slowed way down. Sometimes web pages time out or get stuck and I have to refresh. NEVER had to do that before. Browsing was super quick. What happened and how do I get back to normal?

did you remove your previous used AV before installing avast?

did you run that vendors removal tool to clear all leftover files?
