Avast tells me that it is critical that I install Adobe AIR. From everything that I read people that have Avast and tried to install it, and have the Windows 7 64 bit operating system. have had significant problems with Avast.
Since I am not a computer technical knowledge person, I am concerned about doing the install and not being able to correct any problems that may occur.
What are your suggestions?
If I don’t need to install Adobe AIR, how can I stop the Avast message from continually telling me that I need to do the install?
If I do need to do the install, how can I prevent the problems from occuring that others with the Windows 7 64 bit operating system have experienced?
The user apparently has adobe Air installed but an outdated version.
I also received this message shortly after updating to avast!8 Free.
The update went smoothly.
Well that is what I was thinking it might be in the software updater, but the OP gave the impression he doesn’t have Adobe Air installed. So it is possible that this has sneaked in under another guise Adobe Flash update perhaps.
