Installing Avast Secureline on new laptop

I have had an Avast Secureline VPN licence for some time and now I want to add to my new laptop however I keep getting notices that it cannot install.
The desktop icon has appeared but just shows the message Secureline has encountered a technical issue.
Can anybody help.
