While there’s been some disagreement on the subject, it sounds like it’s a relatively good idea to remove (via Add-remove/Change) any providers which won’t be used, in my case Outlook and P2P, to reduce computer load.
Within the Instant Messaging provider itself, is there any equivalent gain from un-ticking unused IM services, if I’m only using, e.g., Yahoo? I note that even in Standard mode, all are by default ticked.
