Interaction Error code ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE (Error 324) and AVAST !

I am trying to access the following page : http://www.sportcategory.com/c-4.html from both my 2 browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and I am getting the following error:
NO DATA RECEIVED.
UNABLE TO LOAD THE WEBPAGE BECAUSE THE SERVER SENT NO DATA.
ERROR CODE ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE.

Otherwise my computer is working fine. I am suspecting Avast is not allowing me to access this webpage, may be for security reason. Please let me know how to overcome and solve this issue and also how I may uninstall Avast from my computer. Thanks.

if avast block a URL there should be a warning popup

url is working here from my iPad…

if you right click avast tray icon and pause shields....does it work then?

No problem accessing that URL with avast free 9.0.2018, winXP and firefox 29.0.1.

It may have something to do with that site’s identification of you specific IP address. See if you can access that site anonymously.

Thanks for all who replied. Issue solved. The server was down and Avast was NOT in any way involved.
