Howdy folks,
Those that are searching for info on specific malware can off course use google, there is also this repository:
http://www.bugbopper.com/MalwareInfo/masternameindex.asp
or here:
http://www.bugbopper.com/MalwareInfo/mastermd5index.asp
And then there is this: http://www.malwareinfo.nl/zoeken/zoeken.html?
Then there are the known real time resources (malware domains/malware hash/ malware name sites) for malware information, virustotal % lookup info etc. but these are already know to users that use those here,
and users are advised to go these sites only if they know how to protect themselves and what not to click,
same advice as visiting jsunpack etc. etc.
Procedure for look-ups on a specific URL.
Without risk to your browser and comp you could visit and scan a specific URL or domain at URLVoid, upload a specific suspicious URL at virustotal.com, do a free scan at http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/ or do a look-up at Norton Safe Web, at unmasked parasites, just to give a few of examples…or turn here to the forums to ask for further info here on the forums…
