Malware: It’s all in the gift-wrapping
http://blog.avast.com/2010/12/20/malware-giftwrapping-services/

That is quite intersting, the idea that it is relatively easy to send out something malicious…slightly worrying in a way…

Typical, the one video I want is done on a mac… ::slight_smile:

It’s already posted in the Security Warnings Thread:

Maybe that should be telling you something? ;D

But I will stay with the original (resilient) C64, which is still working here…

This brings up something I have always wondered about. I only have Word and Excel installed out of a full Office XP version. I always get updates for the other components though and I have always allowed them to proceed so I didn’t get prompted about them again the next time. I also have the 2007 compatibility pack installed so I get the 2007 updates along with the ones for Office XP. I do not have Outlook installed but I do use Outlook Express. I’m wondering if this faulty update could somehow impact OE as well because it has been sluggish at times lately.

They are 2 totally different programs not even remotely similar
except they are both capable of handling your emails. ;D
